State of Tennessee v. Victor Gordon

Case Number
W2025-00506-CCA-R3-CD

The Defendant, Victor Gordon, appeals from his convictions for rape of a child and
aggravated sexual battery. Specifically, he argues the evidence was insufficient to support
his conviction for rape of a child because the State failed to present evidence of sexual
penetration. He further contends that he is entitled to plain error relief as to both
convictions on the basis that the trial court failed to make the required statutory findings
for the admission of the victims’ forensic interviews pursuant to Tennessee Code
Annotated section 24-7-123. After review, we affirm the judgments of the trial court.
