3 Names go to Gov. Haslam for Consideration in 22nd Judicial District Circuit Court Opening

The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments met on April 10, 2015 in Columbia to hold a public hearing and conduct interviews of candidates for the upcoming circuit court vacancy in the 22nd Judicial District, which serves Giles, Lawrence, Maury, and Wayne counties.

After interviewing the candidates and conducting a vote, the Commission has submitted the following three as nominees to Gov. Bill Haslam for the vacancy:

David L. Allen
Lawrenceburg

N. Houston Parks
Columbia

Leland Bruce Peden
Columbia

The vacancy was created by the announcement by the Honorable Jim T. Hamilton that he will retire effective June 1, 2015.
