Jason White v. John Beard, Warden

The Petitioner, Jason White, appeals the Shelby County Criminal Court’s summary
dismissal of his petition for writ of habeas corpus. On appeal, he contends that the
indictment, which charged him with conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with the
intent to sell and deliver within a drug-free school zone, was fatally defective, which
deprived the trial court of jurisdiction and rendered the judgments void. Based upon our
review, we affirm the habeas corpus court’s dismissal of the petition.
