This extraordinary appeal involves whether a non-attorney individual may file a notice of
appeal in the Shelby County General Sessions Court on behalf of a limited liability
corporation. We conclude that the trial court erred in denying a motion to dismiss the appeal
on this basis. We therefore reverse the decision of the trial court and remand this matter for
dismissal.
