Commission Sends Craft, Kirby, Lathram to Haslam for Supreme Court Consideration

The Governor’s Commission on Judicial Appointments met on November 13, 2013 in Nashville to hold a public hearing and conduct interviews of candidates for the vacancy on the Supreme Court of Tennessee.

After interviewing the candidates and conducting a vote, the Commission has submitted the following three as nominees to Gov. Bill Haslam for the vacancy effective September 1, 2014.

Criminal Court Judge
30th Judicial District

Holly M. Kirby
Court of Appeals/Western Section

John Brook Lathram
Bass, Berry & Sims, PLC - Memphis Office

The vacancy is being created by the retirement of Justice Janice M. Holder.
