Child Development for the Rule 40 Guardian ad Litem

This training offers a critical review of normal child development for ages 0-5; ages 6-13; and ages 14-21, how trauma impacts normal development, and the ethical dilemmas Guardian ad Litems face when dealing with a client's disabilities that impact development. 

This course has been approved for a total of 4.0  training hours.

Distance Learning courses offered by the Court Improvement Program are based on both content and time. In order to receive a Certificate of Completion, you must complete the pre test,  view the training presentations in their entireity, and then submit the post test and training evaluation.

Completed trainings will be reported to your Court Facilitator on a monthly basis.
