July 15, 2013

The Tennessee Supreme Court’s Access to Justice initiative provides several informational videos for both the general public and attorneys on a variety of legal topics. These videos now include closed captioning to make the guidance accessible to even more people.

The videos review topics for the general public for civil cases in general sessions courts – where many civil legal matters take place – such as contract disputes, debt, landlord issues and civil suits under $25,000. It is often referred to as small claims court.

Also included among the videos are several resources for lawyers, including videos reviewing information regarding domestic violence and debt collection.
