Trial Court Commission Sends Three Names to Governor for Upcoming Shelby County Circuit Court Opening

The Trial Court Vacancy Commission met today in Memphis to consider 11 applicants for the impending Circuit Court vacancy in the 30th Judicial District, which serves Shelby County.

The vacancy was created by the announcement by Judge Donna M. Fields that she will retire September 1.

After holding a public hearing and conducting public interviews, the Commission selected the following nominees:

Lee Ann Pafford Dobson
Collierville

David M. Rudolph
Memphis

Mary L. Wagner
Memphis

The Commission has forwarded the names to Gov. Bill Haslam for his consideration.
