Commission Sends 3 Judicial Candidates to Governor for Consideration in 17th District

The Judicial Nominating Commission met on March 8, 2013 in Shelbyville, Tenn., to hold a public hearing and conduct interviews of candidates for the Circuit Court vacancy in the 17th Judicial District. After interviewing the candidates and conducting a vote, they have submitted the following three as nominees to Gov. Bill Haslam for the vacancy in the district that serves Bedford, Lincoln, Marshall and Moore counties:

Forest A. Durard, Jr.
Brooke Charles Grubb
Barbara G. Medley

The vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Robert Crigler, effective May 31.
