TENNESSEE JUDICIAL BRANCH ADA PROTOCOL

The Tennessee state judicial system continues to provide reasonable accommodation pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act ( A ADA @ ) when a qualified person with a disability seeks such an accommodation or it is apparent that a person needs accommodation.   Courts may continue to contact the Administrative Office of the Courts to assist them in meeting this responsibility pursuant to the ADA.  Any judge, court officer or any person seeking a reasonable accommodation may contact Cornelia A. Clark, AOC Director, Tim Townsend, Assistant Director, Pamela Taylor, Human Resources Manager, or any other member of senior management for assistance.   AOC staff will continue work with local court personnel to insure that reasonable accommodations are provided in accordance with the law.
